First Friday's famous, featuring art from local Jimmy Lee and music from Pharmacy Spirits and DJ Blac. We'll also have delicious treats from Nebraska Brewing Company and Schy's Pies for Peace.

This month, according to Jimmy Lee: Mort à la Renommée: death to fame. Over the course of time, society's obsession with fame has grown to near-zealous proportions. From classic icons like Elizabeth Taylor to pop sensations like Lady Gaga, fame consumes us. Every fascination carries the possibility of possessing an inner, uglier side. Through Mort à la Renommée, I seek to expose a much more revolting inner layer in the framework that is fame.
